So in typical Bates fashion we RAGED saturday night. It started off in the hotel room, with free flowing bottles of rose, white wine, and smirnoff ice for Kathy’s birthday.  Pictures were taken of everyone looking fabulous in their going out gear and much to my regret pictures continued to be taken even after the drunky faces came out. too funnyy. Then it was on to LC Club. This club was super fun, it was packed and super hard to get into without paying the 17 euro cover-charge. But after a few sultry looks to the bouncer and a few whiny protests that we were hot american girls the bouncer let us in for free!!! success. the rest of the night was filled with French guidos, dancing on the stage, taking pictures with strangers and repeatedly sneaking into the VIP section and then repeatedly getting kicked out again.  There were a few mishaps towards 4 am involving  a guido being maced to the face and then chased through the parking lot by the huge black bouncer carrying a baton. And then of course the night cant end without your casual 14 year old boys outside the club trying to hit on us classy american girls. “Umm were lesbians, sorry”……except it didn’t even faze them one bit. Then of course the guido that had just been maced went for a go with his pick up lines. Like come on buddy your eyes are still watering from the mace, at least freshen up a bit before you come trying to get a piece of this. HA  Come 4:30 in the morning, my feet were crying out and i was way too sober to deal with anymore guidos and what i can only assume were crackheads.  Time to head back to home base. Great first night out!
